This joint is The Show of people watching. Just steps from the intersection of Hollywood and Highland, I guarantee you will have a good time. One Sunday we sat there drinking beers as big as our heads when a limosine pulled up right in from of us and the occupant began handing out religious pamphlets while waiting for the light to change. It was Little Richard.
The decor is a riot; part alpine disney nightmare, part fern bar. I believe the owners were required to retain the Snow White name and decorative remnants by some historical conservation society or something. I’ve been going here so long I am not sure whether I know this to be a fact or made it up. For reals. I have no idea.
Anyway, love the place. Beer’s pretty cheap too.

I went to the makeup school down the street this past year, for every finals exam we had, the class and I would go here for drinks. It was always a lot of fun. I enjoy this place a lot… so cute inside and service is really nice.

MY DREAM BAR.!!!
So weird and spooky and dark and not-crowded and 34 OUNCE BEERS FOR $7 DURING HAPPY HOUR.
omg. maybe i have a soft spot for Snow White because it was one of my first “WTF is this place” discoveries in LA. Found it one day when my roommate and I intended to go to the Wax Museum but got sidetracked.
Snow White is the perfect place to waste an incredibly beautiful day and be completely pumped about doing it.

What a dive bar! Right across the street from Ripley’s, I never noticed this place until yesterday. There was about 7 people in the bar when we walked in on Sunday afternoon and by mid evening we were the last ones there. First server was a little rugged at first, but after we had a few she became a sweetheart. She was very cool and so was the guy who came after her. For being on hollywood blvd, this place has a great happy hour special. I recommend it if your like me and like talking to the locals.

heres the thing, hollywood and highland is like a tourist trap on steroids, so when it was suggested that i go to this bar i was hesitant, i hate crowds and i hate waiting, but i was in good company so i didnt mind at all…
we walked in and to my surprise, the bustling and hustling of the outside slowed waaaaay down, it was about 10pm on a Saturday and inside it was only a few locals there to have a drink…ummmm what?…totally not what i expected but so so glad that was the case…
i had a big ginormous beer, and an amazing conversation with the very entertaining boy who took me there…it turned out to be a good date spot…i never would have guessed, but i plan on going back.

Great for people watching. One of my favorite “dive” hangouts. Great happy hour joint. You can get a large 44 ounce beer for $7 or they usually have a burger and pint for $10 and & $5 wings or quesadilla.
Its fun to watch all the tourists on Hollywood Blvd., and/or chat with them inside the place.
Convenient to the Hollywood and Highland subway. This place doesn’t have the best food around, but it serves its purpose and is just a fun place to hang out or take a break from the sun if you are sight-seeing.
